Essex Girls Come Out On Top as Chessable British Junior Girls Champions
Ruqayyah Rida and Abigail Weersing, Essex Juniors, took the title of Chessable British Junior Girls Champions in the U10 and U16 categories home from Torquay in August.
Ruqayyah finished with 4.5 / 7 points, becoming the U10 Girls Champ. She shares the title with Rachel Yang.
Abbey, who finished 4th (with tiebreaks) in the U16s, claimed the top girls spot with an impressive 5.5 / 7 points.
